Punchfront dance studio dress code

BALLET CLASS:

girls

BOTTOMS: Pink or skin tone tights (convertible tights are highly recommended). Sheer skirts/wrap skirts are optional. NO tutus.

TOPS: A solid leotard in the appropriate color for their class. CAN BE ANY STYLE (STRAPS, CAP SLEEVE, LONG SLEEVE, ETc)

SHOES: Pink leather ballet shoes (full sole) for Combo BalleT classes. PINK OR SKIN TONE LEATHER BALLET SHOES (FULL SOLE) FOR ballet 1. Shoes with no strings are preferred for these classes to help limit distractions. Canvas SKIN TONE ballet shoes (split sole) for Ballet 2, and Ballet 3 classes.

HAIR: Hair should be pulled back in a pony, braid, or bun for Combo Ballet classes. Hair must be in bun for Ballet 1, Ballet 2, and Ballet 3 classes. If hair is too short, please have it pulled back and out of face completely. Hair must be put up prior to entering class.

BOTTOMS: Black shorts, black exercise pants, or black tights  

TOPS: White T-shirt, white tank top, or white leotard

SHOES: Black leather ballet shoes (full sole) for Combo BalleT classes and ballet 1. Shoes with no strings are preferred for these classes to help limit distractions. Black canvas ballet shoes (split sole) for Ballet 2, and Ballet 3 classes.

HAIR: Pulled away from face if needed. Hair must be pulled back prior to entering class.

CONTEMPORARY/LYRICAL:

BOTTOMS: Any color leggings, PANTS OR dance shorts (i.e., running shorts, bike shorts, SWEATPANTS). Tan tights are optional.

TOPS: Any color fitted tank top, t-shirt, or leotard

SHOES: barefoot or lyrical shoes

HAIR: Ponytail or bun (NOT messy). If hair is too short then it must be pulled back out of face completely. Hair must be put up prior to entering class.

TOPS: Any color fitted tank top or t-shirt

SHOES: barefoot or lyrical shoes

HAIR: Pulled away from face if needed. Hair must be pulled back prior to entering class.

JAZZ:

girls

BOTTOMS: Any color leggings or shorts (i.e., running shorts or bike shorts). Tan tights are optional.

TOPS: Any color fitted tank top, t-shirt, or leotard

SHOES: black slip-on jazz shoes

HAIR: Ponytail or bun (NOT MESSY). If hair is too short then it must be pulled back out of face completely. Hair must be put up prior to entering class.

**JAZZ SHOE COLOR: COMPANY MEMBERS may be required to purchase an alternate color before competition based on costumes. This will be finalized in SEPTEMBER once choreography for competition pieces are COMPLETEd**

TAP:

girls

SHOES: Black snap or velcro tap shoes (ages 3-8) Black lace up tap shoes (ages 9+)

HAIR: Hair pulled back out of face (i.e., ponytail or braid). Hair must be put up prior to entering class.

HAIR: Hair pulled back out of face (i.e., ponytail or braid). Hair must be put up prior to entering class.
